Patron Choice
Patron Choice means that Acord’s patrons are able to choose the foods that they prefer.
Each time you visit, you will be offered a certain quantity of food in various categories, the quantity depending on the number of people in your household. You can choose the particular items within each category. For example, if you are offered two boxes of breakfast cereal, you can choose from the varieties in stock that day. If you are offered three cans of vegetables, you can choose the types you prefer. If we have several types of frozen meat in stock, you can choose which one you would like. A volunteer will bag your groceries to order.
We are pleased to be able to provide fresh foods such as milk, eggs, cheese, butter, meat, and baked goods.
Seasonally, we also offer fresh produce generously donated by Appleton Farms.
